March 20, 2008 Allright, we found our newest member: Amy (from the EVPS boards). By the way, anybody interested is definitely welcome to register on the boards. We did another case this past weekend. We (again!) got some pretty awesome results out of it. We're all working to post the last few cases/investigations right here. We are also looking for another member. Somebody preferably from Southwestern PA (or who can transport themselves here easily) with some free time and an open mind for the paranormal and some down to the earth people. This person will be responsible for assisting in research for an investigation and may eventually move up to become an investigator. Well there have some major changes within the group. Two members, investigators, and friends (Bill & Lisa) decided to go their separate ways. All of us here at EVPS sincerely wish them the best of luck with whatever they may decide to do. Since the last update, which was around a month ago, we have gone on two investigations. The first one was a residence and can be found on the Cases & Investigations link found to the left under 'Investigations'. We caught one image that we still aren't able to debunk yet but anyone is more than welcome to put their 2 cents in on this. The second investigation was last Friday (March 7th). We are all amped about how much evidence we got that night and a few nights before it as well. We should have that case posted in Cases & Investigations within two weeks or less. In other news, we also have gained a new member. . . Tim. He should be a great addition to our group. Well, the message board crisis has (haha, once again) been resolved. The boards had to once again be recreated due to some, er, many faults in the forum software we we're using, so we are now using a completely different message boarding system. So everybody get over there and register! Right now the Cases & Findings section is getting ready to get completed. We already have some interesting findings that will be found there and I'm sure there will be much more to come with a few more investigations in the next two weeks. Cody Webmaster cody@evpsociety.com January 23, 2008 Hello everyone. We'll there has been alot of miscellaneous and meticulous tweaking to alot of site over the past few days. Especially the message boards. Our group and site is growing very rapidly, enough so that we had to upgrade our server. This means that the site may be down for a few days once this is processed. We have a ton of articles being written by all the members, especially Lyndy. Tom is all amped up for the first possible webisode to occur as we have an investigation in just two days, followed by another 8 days later. Things are reeallly moving right along it seems :). Cody Webmaster cody@evpsociety.com January 20, 2008 Hey everyone. All right, so I ended up pulling an all day/nighter today. I got a ton (and I do mean ton) of work finished. I guess the old college effort wasn't enough with the boards. Couldn't fix the scripting on the boards in order to debunk the smilie and registration issues...so I had to unfortunately scrap the whole board and all of our posts. Spend a good couple of hours reinstalling the new boards though, so that is now up and ready to rock. I also added a new article by our co-founder / lead investigator / occasional lingerie model (haha) Bill. It's titled 'Teamwork in the Paranormal Field'. Very good read, check it out in the member's article's section. Speaking of which I got that page done as well. Also added an additional title to Lyndy's bio page. Until later, peace to all. Cody Webmaster cody@evpsociety.com January 19, 2008 All right. Eternal Visions Paranormal Society is now officially launched. I got alot done for sure tonight, you might say I was hustlin' ;). Completed Chris' bio, updated Bill's bio title, finished the disclaimer and investigation request pages, and quite a bit of frickin' photoshop design action. Also formatted some articles written by our case manager and co-founder Lyndy for her. Those being: Types of Hauntings Signs of a Haunting Miscellaneous Phenomena & the EVPS group history (still a work in progress) There's still some work for us to be done. Tom should be sending up the investigation procedures any day now and a bunch of members have articles on the way. As far as our cases and findings page goes, it's looking like we'll have that all set for after our Feb. 2nd investigation. I'm gonna be reorganizing the boards shortly and give it the old college effort to fix that smilie icon error tomorrow too. So let's get the site and boards rolling guys! Peace to all. Today the frontpage was updated, the links & updates page were setup, and the boards were completely revamped. Not sure about you guys but I'm feeling the new look. All that is left for us to to finish is our case info, the EVPS group history, get some member articles on board, and get the webisode/podcast (beta) section all hooked up.
